Children's Dentist

When your child’s first tooth appears, it’s time to make an appointment in our office. We will provide you with advice about keeping your child’s teeth and gums clean and healthy while we get to know them. This sets them up for a future of good dental health as well as comfort with our office and staff.

Adult Dental Care

In addition to a good brushing and flossing routine, preventive visits to the dentist are critical to your ongoing dental health. Your regular appointment includes an evaluation of your teeth and gums, x-rays if needed, professional cleaning with removal of tartar and plaque, an examination of oral tissues for signs of cancer, and more. These visits, generally twice yearly, are key to maintaining a healthy mouth for life.

State-of-the-Art Dental Technology

Are you tired of getting regular impressions taken? Tired of the mess? Do they make you feel gaggy? Our office now has a new 3 shape Trios wireless intraoral scanner which we can use to take a digital impression of your teeth without the mess!

Digital scans can be used to make dentures, crowns on teeth, implants, night guards and Invisalign. It is also can be used as a recording tool to see how your teeth and gums have changed over time.

VELscope®

We use the VELscope® Vx Enhanced Oral Assessment System to visualize abnormalities in oral tissues that we may not see with the naked eye. The handheld scope uses natural tissue fluorescence to assist in identifying areas that may indicate cancer or another condition. With early detection, we can provide swift, successful treatment.

Digital X-Rays

Digital radiographs allow us to significantly reduce the radiation to you when we need to visualize your teeth and jawbone. With our advanced x-ray imaging technology, we are able to take radiographs without using sensors that go into your mouth. Children and gaggers really appreciate this option!

Fissure Sealants

The chewing surfaces of the molars are difficult to clean and offer many crevices for decay to form. We recommend dental sealants, a clear coating applied to the tops of those teeth, to protect them from decay. Sealants have been shown to prevent approximately 80% of cavities for up to two years and then 50% of cavities during the following four years. Ask us about dental sealants at your child’s next appointment.
